Terms of Service
These terms cover pie-chart-generator.com, operated by Ryan Doyle, an independent developer in Florida, United States. Using the site means you accept them.
What you get
You may use the tool to make charts for anything, including commercial work, client deliverables, schoolwork, published articles and printed material. No attribution is required. There is no account and no usage limit on the free tier.
Your charts belong to you
The data you enter and the charts you export are yours. No ownership claim is made over them, and no license to them is taken. Chart data is processed in your browser and is not uploaded.
The Pro unlock
Pro is a one-time $7.99 payment processed by Stripe. It removes the export watermark and adds transparent background PNG export and 2x resolution export. It is not a subscription and it does not renew.
Because there is no account system, Pro status is stored in the browser you bought it in. Clearing site data or moving to another device switches it off. Reactivate it with the purchase email through the Already purchased option in the export panel. Keep the Stripe receipt.
Refunds: email rpdoyle1@gmail.com within 30 days of purchase and the payment is returned in full.
What you may not do
Do not attempt to break, overload or scrape the site in a way that degrades it for other people, do not resell access to the tool as though it were your own product, and do not use it to produce material that is illegal where you are.
Availability and warranty
The site is provided as is. It is a small independent project, so uptime is not guaranteed, features can change, and pages may be taken offline. Verify anything important before you rely on it, and keep your own copy of exported files.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, liability for any claim connected to the site is limited to the amount you actually paid, which is $7.99 at most and zero for free users. No responsibility is accepted for indirect or consequential losses such as lost work, lost profit or a missed deadline.
Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated, and the date at the top of the page will change when they are. They are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
