Insert a polished pie chart into your PowerPoint presentation using the built-in editor or our faster online generator.
Launch PowerPoint and navigate to the slide where you want the pie chart to appear. Choose a blank slide layout or one with a content placeholder for the cleanest result.
Go to Insert > Chart on the ribbon. In the dialog that appears, select 'Pie' from the left panel and pick a style such as '2-D Pie'. Click OK and PowerPoint will open a small embedded spreadsheet where you can enter your data.
Replace the placeholder data with your own category names and values. Close the spreadsheet window when done — the pie chart on the slide will update automatically to reflect your data.
Click the chart to access the Chart Design and Format tabs. Add data labels, change colors, adjust the chart title, and resize the chart to fit your slide layout. Use PowerPoint's animation features to reveal slices during the presentation if desired.
For a faster workflow, create your pie chart using our free online generator, download it as a high-resolution PNG, and insert it into PowerPoint via Insert > Pictures. This avoids the clunky embedded spreadsheet and gives you more design control.
