Google Sheets makes free pie charts and downloads them as SVG, PNG or PDF, but it needs a Google Account and a spreadsheet. Pie Chart Generator needs neither: type or paste your numbers and download the chart.

We make Pie Chart Generator. How we compared: on September 29, 2026 we read Google's own Sheets, pricing and help pages, and checked our own code the same day. Each Google Sheets fact links to its source. Our own data: of 13,058 charts downloaded from our maker between January 29 and August 18, 2026, 19.0% were JPEG, the one format Sheets' chart menu doesn't offer (statistics page).
Google Sheets facts read on Google's own pages on September 29, 2026. Ours from our code the same day.

Switch when you want a chart without signing in or building a spreadsheet: type or paste the numbers and download PNG, JPEG, SVG or PDF.
Sheets needs a Google Account; sheets.google.com sends you to the sign-in page. Ours opens with no sign-in, which helps on shared computers.
Type or paste the labels and numbers and download the chart. There's no sheet to create, name or share first.
The chart is drawn and downloaded in your browser, so your numbers aren't uploaded to make it, and nothing is saved to an account.
Sheets wins when the data already lives in a sheet, when you need offline or shared editing, or when the file must carry no credit line.
Sheets downloads a chart as SVG, PNG or PDF for free, and the chart sits beside the data it comes from.
Sheets lets you pull a slice out in its chart editor. Ours does that only on the exploded pie chart page, and SVG downloads from it are flat.
Google's help doesn't mention any mark on downloaded charts. Our free downloads carry a small credit line until you buy Pro ($7.99 once).
Google says you can create, view and edit spreadsheets without an internet connection, and Sheets is built for editing together. Ours has neither.
Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals is free for qualifying schools, so students can chart with their school accounts.
Type or paste your numbers, then download PNG, JPEG, SVG or PDF.
