No tool scores 4 of 4 on our checks. ChartGo, ChartLoad, GraphMake and Pie Chart Generator tie at 3, each missing a different point, so the right pick depends on which miss matters to you.
By Ryan Doyle, who built Pie Chart Generator
We make Pie Chart Generator, one of the six tools here. How we compared: before looking at any score, we chose four yes-or-no checks about a tool's free version, then on October 6, 2026 read each tool's own pages and page code and scored all six the same way, ours included. A point is given only when a tool's pages or code say so; anything unstated scores zero. Ties are listed alphabetically with ours last in its group. Our own data is why SVG is a check: 12.7% of the 13,058 charts downloaded from our maker between January 29 and August 18, 2026 were SVG (method).
Make your own chart, freeOne point each, for the free version of the tool.
| Check | Point given when |
|---|---|
| No account | A chart can be made and downloaded with no sign-in or email |
| Clean download | The tool's pages or code say free downloads carry no watermark or credit |
| Free SVG | SVG is listed among the free download formats |
| No ads | No ad network script appears in the tool page's code |
We did not score design, chart types or speed. The notes on each tool cover those.

| Tool (score of 4) | No account | Clean download | Free SVG | No ads |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ChartGo (3) | Yes | Yes | Yes | No: AdSense and IncreaseRev |
| ChartLoad (3) | Yes | Yes | Yes | No: AdSense |
| GraphMake (3) | Yes | Yes | No: SVG is Pro, $19 a year | Yes, none found |
| Pie Chart Generator (ours) (3) | Yes | No: a small credit line; $7.99 once removes it | Yes | Yes |
| PieChartCalculator.com (2) | Yes | Not stated | Yes | Not checked, scored 0 |
| Datylon (2) | No: free account | Not stated | Yes | Not checked, scored 0 |
"Not stated" and "not checked" score zero by our rule, so PieChartCalculator.com and Datylon could move up if their pages say more. A tool can change its free plan at any time; check its own page before relying on a row.
What each does well and where it falls short.
Free for over 15 years, with no account and, per its FAQ, no watermark. It downloads images, SVG and CSV and makes bar, line, combo, pie, area, barbell and XY line charts. Its page code loads Google AdSense and IncreaseRev ad scripts, the point it misses.
100+ chart types and 200+ templates, nine export formats including SVG, PDF and Excel, and offline use once loaded. It says no account and no watermark. Google AdSense scripts appear in its page code.
ChartLoad, read October 6, 2026
A hub of 120 single-purpose makers, 44 of them charts and graphs. Its free PNG has no signup and no watermark, and we found no ad scripts. SVG sits in Pro at $19 a year, with 4x PNG and animated MP4 charts.
GraphMake, read October 6, 2026
No account, no ad scripts, and free PNG, JPEG, SVG and PDF downloads, plus pages for donut, exploded and percentage pies. The miss is the small credit line on free files; a one-time $7.99 Pro unlock removes it. We make four chart types against ChartLoad's 100+.
Pricing, our code, read October 6, 2026
No sign-up, exports SVG, PNG and CSV, and shows the total, number of categories and largest category next to the chart. Its page does not say whether downloads carry a mark, and we did not check it for ads.
PieChartCalculator.com, read October 6, 2026
A free plan at $0 with PDF, PNG and SVG downloads and unlimited saved designs, and fine control over every pie element. It starts with signing in, which is what costs it the first point.
